The 11th China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITE), jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), State Intellectual Property Office, and Beijing Municipal Government, was held in Beijing between May 20th and 25th. Over 300 exhibitors, corporate representatives and media houses participated in the exhibition.

Shijingshan district Stand is located in the No 8 exhibition hall. With the theme "Shijingshan, fun with hills and water, creative pioneer technology zone", the stand attracted a lot of attention from the media and visitors alike. It displayed its CRD's development, especially its achievements in the cultural and creativity industry. One leading example is China's Virtual Economic Zone developed by Beijing Digital Entertainment Industry Demonstrate Base. The Shijinshan CRD stand quickly ran out of promotional pamphlets due to overwhelming public response.

The Shijingshan District Committee, District Government worked hard for CHITEC. District committee secretary Ron Hua, district governor Zhou Mao Fei and other officials visited the Shijinshan stand on May 21 and 22. They met Hao Yong, executive of base operating China Virtual Economic Area, Liu Gang, General Manager of Zhong Guancun Overseas students Start Own Business Zone and some other corporate representatives. They encourage enterprise representatives to continue working hard and contribute to the development of Shijingshan district's creative cultural industry.

Corporation representatives say with the broad support from all levels officials and local people's dedication, local culture creative industry has achieved significant progress. A capital entertainment area with beautiful environment, convenient transportation, and complete infrastructure is under construction.
