The Shijingshan Information Office is the permanent office for the Information Work Lead Group, and also serves as the department in charge of information work.

Functions:

1. Formulating the annual plan for the development of the district information work and supervising its implementation; supervising the information work.

2. Making plan for the building of information networks.

3. Supervising the information industry for the enforcement of law; in charge of the examination, registration and management of the domain names registered by officials.

4. Managing the government websites and networking.

5. Organizing and coordinating the development and utilization of information resources; educating the staff in the field of information.
