Recently, Shijingshan District was nominated as one of the national experimental districts on community education in the "Announcement of Newly-published National Experimental Districts on Community Education by the Ministry of Education".

During recent years, Shijingshan District has been highly emphasizing the development of community education and organizing various kinds of educational training activities to satisfy residents' needs for learning. These activities have made remarkable achievements and gained experiences, which support and lead the establishment of a learning district.　　

District officials said the nomination was an acknowledgement of Shijingshan District's efforts, as well as an encouragement. The district will make more efforts for enriching the content and methods of educational training to satisfy the growing educational needs of community residents in the future.
