Babaoshan Street Committee, a regional committee in Beijing Shijingshan District which provides public services to local residents, issued letters of appointment to 7 newly-nominated deputy secretaries on the morning of January 8, 2010, according to Shijingshan Information Network.

The 7 new deputy secretaries were recommended and approved by local residents so as to promote the work of the Youth League Committee in Babaoshan Street. Officials from 9 fundamental Youth League organizations of regional public authorities including the local police station as well as the local industrial and commercial administrative bureaus attended the nomination activity.

Babaoshan Street is one of the 8 municipal experimental regions and the only experimental region in Shijingshan District to establish regional Youth League organizations. The street committee framed the "Regulations of Establishing Regional Experimental Youth League Organizations". All the experimental work will be completed according to the new regulations before March.
