The Big Air Shougang will hold the Beijing leg of the FIS Snowboard & Freeski Big Air World Cup 2025–2026 from December 4 to 6, 2025. Among the star athletes confirmed to take part in the competition are Su Yiming (a champion of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing) and Anna Gasser (a two-time Olympic Big Air champion from Austria), alongside other top contenders from around the world. Tickets for the competition went on sale to the public at 12:00 on November 26.

To ensure the safe and smooth execution of the competition, the Big Air Shougang area has closed temporarily on November 28 and will reopen on December 11. Additionally, temporary traffic control measures will be implemented on the surrounding roads during the competition period.
Specifically, from 00:00 on December 1 to 00:00 on December 7, a section of West Ring Factory Road (西环厂路) — from its north entrance to the west entrance of the Oxygen Innovation Center's surface parking lot, including the west entrance of Qunminghu South Road (群明湖南路) — will be closed to to all unauthorized personnel and vehicles (including both motorized and non-motorized ones). All parking spaces along this route will be suspended during this period.
