On April 27, a sci-fi short movie titled Dreaming of the Future, featuring interactive human-screen technology and integrated sound and light effects, unveiled the 8th China Science Fiction Convention in 2024 at the No. 1 Blast Furnace of Shougang Park in Shijingshan District. Under the theme of "Creating the Future with Scientific Dreams", the conference features four sections: an opening ceremony, a forum, industrial promotional sessions and the Sci-fi Film Week.
