On November 16, the 2024 "Belt and Road" Diplomats' Cycling Series (Beijing-Laoshan) was successfully held at Laoshan Leisure Urban Park in Beijing.
Under the theme of "Share the Same Future", the race aimed to enhance the understanding and friendship among people from different countries through cycling, a green and healthy mode of transportation, and to promote cultural exchanges and cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative. Leveraging the Olympic legacy of Shijingshan District, this cycling event was also a significant action to inherit the Olympic spirit and promote fitness-for-all.

The event featured four categories: the Embassy and International Student Group, the Men's Open Group, the Women's Open Group, and the Male Youth Group, attracting over 400 participants, including high-level cyclists from across China and many other "Belt and Road" countries.
In addition to professional competitions, special sub-events such as children's balance bike races were also organized, allowing more people to experience the charm of cycling and the atmosphere of fitness-for-all in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
