On the evening of December 31, Beijing Municipality, Tianjin Municipality and Hebei Province will jointly host a New Year's Eve countdown event for the first time. This year, Beijing's main venue for the New Year's Eve event will be located at Shougang Park. The event will feature light displays, artistic performances, a temporary food court, and more. Through the large screens at Beijing's venue, visitors can also view the scenes of the New Year's Eve in Tianjin and Hebei in real time and celebrate the New Year's bell together with the crowds in those two regions.

The 2025 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei New Year's Eve countdown event will start at 19:00 on December 31. Beijing Radio & Television Station (BRTV) will have continuous live coverage from Tianjin, Hebei, and various other parallel venues in Beijing. Around 23:30, BRTV News Channel and new media platforms such as CNR, Btime, and Douyin will broadcast the countdown event live.

Beijing's New Year's Eve countdown events in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024 were all held at Shougang Park. The unique combination of industrial style and trendy fashion has made Shougang Park a vibrant gathering place for Beijingers to celebrate the New Year, showcasing the unique charm of this new landmark in the revitalization of the capital city in the new era.
