Recently, the Shijingshan Lugu project of the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group, the first "zero-waste construction site" project in Shijingshan District, passed the interim evaluation for "zero-waste construction sites".

This project reduces the outward transport of earthwork by producing environmentally friendly backfill materials, realizes the reuse of waste concrete blocks by utilizing recycled aggregates generated from crushed construction waste. It also adopts prefabricated gypsum boards to replace masonry partition walls. Through laser positioning and modular assembly technique, the construction efficiency of the indoor partition walls increased by three times, with the generation of construction waste reduced by 40 percent.

A "zero-waste construction site" achieves maximum utilization of building materials and minimal waste discharge through scientific planning and refined management, which helps conserve resources, reduce the operating costs of enterprises, and improve economic benefits. It is a practice of green building concepts that reduce pollution at the source and promote efficient resource utilization and circular development. The project is of great significance to the green development of the construction industry.
