Recently, the final judging session of the 3rd Science Fiction Planet Competition was held in Shijingshan District. A total of nine champion projects and 12 winning projects were selected among the submissions under the three major categories (technology award, literary award, and work award). The award-winning projects will be officially unveiled during the China Science Fiction Conference 2025, which will be held at Shougang Park in Shijingshan at the end of March.

During the competition's submission period, a total of 747 projects were received from 10 overseas countries, as well as 26 provinces, municipalities, and regions including Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan Province in China. After rigorous qualification reviews, multiple rounds of preliminary and semi-final screenings, and voting, 61 projects were ultimately shortlisted for the finals. 

The successful conclusion of the finals of the 3rd Science Fiction Planet Competition not only contributes to elevating the technical level of sci-fi creations but also promotes in-depth exploration of the future development directions of the sci-fi industry. It further advances China's sci-fi industry to new heights in terms of technological innovation, content creation, and industrial integration, among other aspects, continuously exploring new paradigms for the development of the sci-fi industry.
