As night falls, Shougang Park becomes a popular gathering spot for photography buffs, car enthusiasts, and others. It is a "public park" for citizens to take a stroll and pass time.

 

Many parents drive all the way to Chang'an Malls in Shougang Park for shopping and long strolls with their children.

 

In the outdoor area of the shopping mall, families with children shuttled among the dazzling array of specialty exhibition stalls. A group of musicians gave a spontaneous concert at the Chang'an Malls sunken plaza.

 

Near the east gate square of the park, people walked into the popular restaurant Shougang Grand Cafeteria to try the delicious food. Most of the park's food and beverage stores have extended business time for an hour at night. The Shougang Grand Canteen is open until 10:00 p.m., and LIONK Lion King Dining Bar restaurant is open until the early hours of the morning.

 

It is reported that Shougang Park has been selected as the iconic destination for consumption in Beijing in 2023. It has hosted more than 200 events this year, including over 50 night economy activities. From the second quarter to the fourth quarter, the park will leverage its spatial advantages such as the Big Air Shougang, CIFTIS venue, third blast furnace, and fourth blast furnace to host a series of night economy events including the Beer Festival Night, concerts, and rock music concerts.
