The No.3 Blast Furnace of Shougang Park is a "meritorious furnace" that made outstanding contributions to the industrial development of Beijing's steel production and China's steel industry. This September, it will be transformed into a new digital cultural experience complex—RE No.3 Blast Furnace Digital Museum, which will open on a trial basis during this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
Throughout the same period, the museum will launch the immersive light and shadow experience "Tribute to Steel" (致敬钢铁), inviting visitors to travel through time and witness the past and future of this industrial giant. Using a projection technology for a panoramic, immersive effect, the experience will transform the furnace's core into a dynamic narrative space, delivering a powerful sense of immersion and emotional resonance. Leveraging AIGC, 2.5D visual effects, and 5.1-channel surround sound, the experience accurately restores the original appearance of the steel industrial zone where the furnace stands, creating a vivid and "tangible" digital environment. During the trial operation period, everyone can spend only 19.9 yuan for the experience (which will cost 88 yuan per person later) and receive a complimentary drink (worth 38 yuan) from the caf inside.
