Moshikou Historical and Cultural Block includes 15 cultural sites, 30 boutique courtyards, and over 100 unique shops, creating a distinctive space highlighting cultural and leisure experiences. Here's your ultimate travel guide!
The block is a free open public area. However, attractions within the block such as Fahai Temple, Shijingshan District Stone Carving Museum, and Fahai Temple Mural Art Center require separate reservations and ticket purchases for visits.

Bookings open seven days ahead, with each session capped at 15 people and a 20-minute time limit.
Opening Hours: 9:00 - 16:30 (ticket sales stop at 16:00); closed on Mondays
Ticket Price (for authentic Ming Dynasty murals): 100 CNY/person (this grants the entry into Fahai Temple, which means that no additional ticket will be required for the temple alone)

In addition, three attractions, including the China Quaternary Glacial Relics Exhibition Hall, Gudao Sicun, and the First Electrified Village Exhibition Hall, can be visited for free.
Moshikou also houses numerous boutique courtyards with distinctive styles and clean, comfortable environments, such as Shihuayuan (石花园), Jing No.199 (境·199号院) and Meishan No. 51 (美山51号), which are available for booking. Visitors can also immerse themselves in viewing the accommodation environment in advance through the mini-program "Moshikou 720 Panoramic VR" (模式口720 全景VR).
Moshikou offers a wide range of tempting local flavors. Famous dining options include Wutong Courtyard (梧桐小院), Nanmen Shuanrou (南门涮肉), Jing - Tokaji Hungarian Wine (境·Tokaji匈牙利葡萄酒), and the Tourism Culture Experience Center (旅游文化体验中心). There are also must-try Internet-famous snacks, such as crispy and soft Fahai Temple Fried Cakes, fragrant Xiao Han's Jianbing Guozi, crunchy and tender Xinyang Pork Lard Bread, and the sweet and delightful desserts from Xingfu Bakery.
Moshikou is home to several stores selling creative souvenirs, each with its own unique style. You can also visit Moshikou Tourist Service Center and Fahai Temple Mural Art Center to purchase souvenirs rich in cultural connotation.
The block also holds various cultural events during major holidays such as Spring Festival, Labor Day, and National Day. Among the events are the China-Chic Culture Festival, the Cultural Creative Market, the New Year Carnival, and the Music Carnival. The charming night view of the Moshikou area also captivates countless tourists. The projection light show runs until 21:30, with the start time adjusted according to the time of sunset.
For more information about Moshikou, you can visit Moshikou Tourist Service Center located at the east entrance of the block, which features unique exhibitions, a curved wall introducing cultural tourism resources, as well as self-service electronic touch screens and a high-definition large screen, making it easy to obtain information about the block's information including recommended tour routes and cultural tourism events.
Transportation Information:
Bus: Multiple bus routes reach Moshikou. You can choose to get off at Shougangxiaoqu Stop or Moshikoudongli Stop.
Subway: You can reach the west entrance of the block from Moshikou Station (Line 11).
Self-driving: There are several parking lots (P1, P3 and P4) around the block. You can navigate to any of the lots and check real-time parking availability through the WeChat mini-program "Tuoling Gudao Moshikou Visitor Service'' (驼铃古道模式口游客服务).
