Lao Shan Urban Leisure Park is a natural mountain landscaped garden and a free urban green space.

Known for its rustic natural charm, the park serves as an ideal place for outdoor fitness. It retains the mountain bike racing track used in the 2008 Olympic Games, and features comfortable smart trails as well as over 200 smart fitness zones. The park caters to a wide range of activities including mountain hiking, jogging, cycling, table tennis, and badminton. There is also a children's forest playground, a thrilling rope bridge for balance training, and a variety of free non-powered amusement facilities that kids might love.

Also nestled within the park is a hilltop lookout at a height of approximately 130 meters. At the top of the hill, visitors can catch a glimpse of the Ferris wheel at the Shijingshan Amusement Park to the west, and the CCTV Tower in the distance to the east. On clear days, the rolling Western Hills also come into view.

To the west of the park lies Shanye Park (山也Park), an industrial-style greenhouse café. In winter, the indoor space is surrounded by lush green plants, while the outdoor area features a beautiful camping zone. In addition to a selection of specialty coffees, the café offers light meals such as hamburgers and pizzas.
