On January 27, Cishan Temple on the Western Hills of Beijing reopened to the public after renovation. Founded in the Ming Dynasty, this ancient temple complex embodies a blend of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. With its new look, it has been divided into five themed tour zones, integrating natural landscapes with cultural heritage to offer every visitor a journey full of surprises at every step.

"Fortune Blossoms and Ancient Pagoda Exploration" (福韵花境・古塔探踪)

Here, decorative flower beds harmoniously coexist with ancient Buddhist pagodas and Buddha heads, creating a captivating scene where natural beauty and historical relics complement each other. Besides offering stunning photo opportunities, this zone also houses a serene environment for contemplation.

"Blessings and Folk Traditions" (万灵祈福・民俗雅集)

A gathering place for various folk deities, this zone celebrates diverse local beliefs, allowing visitors to seek blessings and experience the charm of cultural fusion.

"Serenity of Chan and Temple Exploration" (禅意幽静・古刹寻踪)

The Buddhist courtyards in this zone allow everyone to delve into Buddhist culture, where visitors can learn about legendary tales while sightseeing in a tranquil atmosphere.

"Living Heritage and Taoist Culture" (古韵非遗・人文传承)

The Taoist courtyards in this zone integrate Taoist traditions with hands-on intangible cultural heritage experiences. Besides the display of relics, visitors can buy and even make souvenirs for their own.
