Spring has arrived, bringing spectacular blossoms gracing different parts of Shijingshan. This time, we will dig into several stunning flower-viewing spots where you can experience a spring symphony. Industrial heritage site, landscape gardens, ancient temples and urban parks... There's somewhere that meets your preference!
Beijing International Sculpture Park

The park's "Magnolia Garden" covers five hectares and is home to over 5,000 magnolia trees across 19 varieties, making it the largest specialized magnolia viewing area in Beijing. From late March to mid-April every year, white and purple flowers bloom in profusion, filling the air with fragrance. The flowers create a delightful contrast with over 180 sculpture artworks from more than 40 countries and regions.
Shougang Park

Here, the rigid lines of steel form a striking contrast with the soft beauty of spring flowers. At locations like Gongbei Pavilion, pink Chinese wild peach blossoms stand against the backdrop of towering industrial heritage sites — blast furnaces, cooling towers, and the Big Air Shougang — creating a spectacular scene.
Badachu Park

Around April, countless flowers bloom together in full glory across Hutou Mountain and other spots. Set against the resonant chimes and Sanskrit chants common in ancient temples, the scenery takes on a profound and serene quality. Hiking to a higher point for a distant view, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the boundless blossoms alongside Beijing's city skyline — a truly exhilarating experience.
Laoshan Urban Leisure Park

The park boasts a wide variety of plants and is an excellent place to admire peach blossoms. Spring flowers frame the figures of people exercising, brimming with the vitality of the season.
Xishan Greenway (Shijingshan Section)

Seamlessly integrated into the city's veins, the green spaces present a sea of golden flowers to unexpectedly grace daily commutes and leisurely paths, bringing delightful spring surprises.
