Recently, the VEX Robotics Asia Open Signature Event (2025–2026 Season) concluded, with over 600 teams and 3,500 participants from nearly 30 countries and regions worldwide engaging in fierce competition at Shougang International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The event featured six major divisions, including VGORC (for kindergarteners), VIQRC (for elementary and middle school students), V5RC (for middle and high school students), and VEX U (for university students), focusing on integrated skills such as robot programming, construction, and control. From young children operating mini robots to university students designing complex combat robots, every age group has a stage of its own.

This year's event deeply impacted the three major sectors (industries, education, and international exchange). It served not only as a stage to showcase the technological innovation capabilities of young people from around the world but also as an important platform for cultivating the future workforce of the artificial intelligence and robotics industries.

Ultimately, the "Bad Robot" team, jointly formed by the University of Southern California, the University of Sydney, and the North China University of Technology, successfully won the championship of the VEX U league, showcasing the cross-disciplinary collaborative strength of Chinese and foreign young students in the field of sci-tech innovation.
