On December 30, the Pingguoyuan Transport Hub, located in Beijing's Shijingshan District, began operation.

The hub is situated south of Fushi Road and north of Pingguoyuan Road, with the China Railway Entrepreneurship Building (中铁创业大厦) to the west and Joy City Jingxi to the east. It serves as a comprehensive transfer hub that integrates multiple modes of transport. Passengers can currently transfer conveniently between Subway Line 6 and Line S1 within the central area of the hub. Once the renovation of the existing Pingguoyuan Station on Subway Line 1 is completed, seamless transfers among Line S1, Line 6, and Line 1 will be entirely within the hub.

The hub also accommodates the starting stop of 15 bus routes, the stops of 10 express bus routes, and the stop of one Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line. The pickup and drop-off zones for the 15 bus routes are located in the bus transfer hall on the first floor of its northern section, while the stops for express routes are situated on Pingguoyuan Road and Pingguoyuan South Road. Passengers can conveniently transfer to BRT Line 4 in the southern section of the hub.

A total of 876 motor vehicle parking spots have been provided within the hub. Additionally, six public parking facilities are located within a 500-meter radius, including the underground parking lot of Joy City Jingxi and the parking area of a Toyota 4S store, providing over 2,000 parking spots in total.

The hub also includes 1,200 non-motor vehicle parking spots, distributed between the basement level of the northern section and the elevated area beneath the BRT platform. Furthermore, 3,780 temporary non-motor vehicle parking spots are marked in the surrounding area.
