Recently, the cast and crew of the Broadway classic "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" made a special appearance at Shijingshan's Shougang Park, embarking on a two-hour magical city walk through this iconic industrial-cultural complex.

Centered on the key prop from the musical, the "Golden Ticket", the event saw lead actors, Daniel Plimpton and Cohen Toukatly, accept their mission in the atrium of Rong Square. With the Golden Ticket and a stamp collection card, these two explorers delved into six distinctive spaces within Rong Square. One by one, they unlocked interactive challenges closely tied to the show's storyline.
The event was a significant move for Rong Square in introducing international film, television and performing arts IPs and creating an integrated content-driven experience. In the future, the venue will continue to attract more collaborations with films, dramas, theatrical performances, variety shows, and more, offering them the large-scale and highly recognizable industrial backdrop of Shougang Park. This will facilitate the transformation of Shougang Park from a static complex into a dynamic "content generator", fostering a mutually empowering ecosystem where the film and television industry in western Beijing, physical retail and urban cultural tourism reinforce on one another.

The musical is set to make its debut in Beijing this spring.
