On January 27, the spectacular lighting ceremony of the 3rd Moshikou Spring Lantern Festival officially kicked off, with 12 distinctive lantern installations simultaneously illuminating the winter night of western Beijing. Centered around horse (the zodiac sign of the upcoming Chinese New Year), this year's festival has been elaborately designed into three chapters, seamlessly integrating Moshikou's historical and cultural heritage with modern illumination techniques. The festival will run until after the Spring Festival holiday. Let's take a virtual tour of this magnificent spring light feast in western Beijing through these photos!
