Recently, the "Blossoms in April, Joyful Spring for Children" Promotional Session for Beijing's Tourism and Leisure Greenway Resources and the "Two Parks, One River" Greenway Roaming Themed Event were held simultaneously at the Beijing Garden Expo Park in Fengtai District and Shougang Park in Shijingshan District. Centered on the in-depth integration of ecological resources, cultural tourism, sports and consumption, this event marked the first cross-district greenway-focused joint promotion carried out by Fengtai and Shijingshan districts. It accelerates the transformation of the "Two Parks, One River" (Shougang Park, the Beijing Garden Expo Park, and the Yongding River) from a blueprint into a tangible destination for exploration, recreation, and consumption.

At the event, the "Half-Day Outdoor Charging Station" campaign was unveiled, co-launched by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Meituan. Catering to citizens' needs for cycling, hiking, family outings and more, it offered diverse experiences such as stamp collecting and influencer store visits to create a seamless travel experience combining cycling, sightseeing, rest and shopping.

The Beijing Walking Association launched a series of greenway tour activities under the theme "Stroll the Greenways, Explore Beijing — Get Moving, Discover More of Beijing's Charm". Certificates were presented to outstanding greenway walking ambassadors to encourage citizens to explore the greenways and experience nature.

Shougang Park's leisure greenway simultaneously launched four themed short-term events.

1. Spring Cycling and Hiking

This featured a customized route connecting landmarks such as Qunming Lake, the High Line Park, No.3 Blast Furnace, and the Yongding River Market.

2. Riverside Gathering of Poetry and Music

This includes the "Yongding Spring Tide" Lawn Concert and the "Poetic Shijingshan" Lakeside Poetry Recital.

3. Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Market

This brings the finest ICH treasures and creative souvenirs from both districts.

4. Family Exploration and Learning Tour

This invites families to enter the "Ring of the Winter Olympics" for an immersive study tour highlighting industrial heritage.
