On September 5, the naked-eye 3D light show "Scenic Western Beijing, Vibrant Yongding River" (山水京西 活力永定), a landscape lighting project centered on the "Two Parks and One River" (Shougang Park, the Beijing Garden Expo Park, and the Yongding River), will debut at Yong Ding He Ji (永定河集, Yongding River Market) in Shijingshan District. Using naked-eye 3D technology, the show will weave Shougang's industrial heritage, the natural scenery of the Yongding River, and the district's urban renewal into an immersive nighttime showcase.
The show is divided into three chapters: "Ode to an Era" (时代长歌), "A City Blending Mountains and Waters" (山水融城) and "Boundless Horizon" (无限之境).
"Ode to an Era" traces the development journey of Shougang. Founded in 1919, Shougang epitomizes China's iron and steel industry and embodies the spirit of bold responsibility, pursuit of innovation, and pioneering endeavors. This chapter incorporates diverse elements including sci-fi visuals, artificial intelligence applications, WTT table tennis events and the Big Air Shougang. It fully demonstrates Shougang's transformation from a traditional steel manufacturing hub to an intelligent and eco-friendly landmark.
"A City Blending Mountains and Waters" draws upon the rich natural and cultural resources of the Western Hills-Yongding River Cultural Belt. Rooted in Shijingshan's unique urban feature of "half urban, half natural", the chapter presents distinctive seasonal ecological views, featuring blooming flowers in spring, dense foliage in summer, colorful leaves in autumn, and lush green vistas in winter.
"Boundless Horizon" highlights the future development blueprint of Shijingshan District, showcasing the blend of industrial relics and future industries, real life and digital power, and ecological endowments and technological innovation, based on the local modern industrial framework underlining two dominant industries, five characteristic industries and four future industries.
