The schedule for the naked-eye 3D light show "Scenic Western Beijing, Vibrant Yongding River" (山水京西 活力永定) has been adjusted in response to public feedback, allowing more visitors to enjoy the spectacular light-and-shadow display at ease, and avoid crowding and long waiting time. Performances on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, have been cancelled, while shows from September 6 to 11 will go ahead as scheduled. There will be two shows each evening at 19:30 and 20:30 from September 6 to 8, and three shows at 19:30, 20:30 and 21:30 from September 9 to 11.
Set against Shougang's industrial cooling towers, the show uses naked-eye 3D technology to showcase the landscapes, culture and urban vitality of western Beijing.
The schedule change is a temporary arrangement designed for further content refinement and preparations for the long-term operation of the light show. After September 11, Shijingshan District will develop and implement a long-term performance schedule to meet regular public demand.
