The World Winter Sports Expo 2026 will be held at Shougang Park in Beijing's Shijingshan District from October 15 to 17.

Initiated in 2016, every year, the expo brings together resources from the global winter sports industry. Through exhibitions, high-level forums and business matchmaking sessions, it provides a professional platform for industry-wide discussion, resource sharing and business negotiations.

This edition will feature the Global Ice and Snow Industry Summit and Opening Ceremony, a main forum and four parallel forums. Discussions will focus on low-carbon upgrades of venues, international practices in ski resort operations, year-round operations for winter sports facilities and activities, winter sports equipment, smart technologies and other topics.

A range of related activities will take place at the same time, including a closed-door meeting of the Global Ice and Snow Industry Alliance, presentations showcasing renowned overseas winter sports destinations, meet-and-greet sessions with sports champions, a startup competition focusing on sports, culture and tourism, a discussion session for winter sports influencers, and screenings of films themed around winter sports.

The expo is open to professionals across the winter sports industry, including operators of ski resorts and related tourism attractions, winter sports equipment manufacturers, investment institutions, research institutes and relevant competent authorities.
