The 2026 Cultural Festival of Western Hill and Yongding River Beijing is scheduled for this October in Beijing. Besides main venue events, this year's festival will feature thematic events in districts along the Western Hills-Yongding River Cultural Belt.

The main venue events of this year's festival are scheduled for October 30 at the No. 3 Blast Furnace in Shougang Park, Shijingshan, under the theme "Long-lasting the Motherland, Splendid Chapter on the Journey" (山河永定・征途华章), presenting a cultural feast integrating professionalism and artistry.

From 16:00 to 19:00 that day, an event centered on the intangible cultural heritage of the "Two Parks and One River" (Shougang Park, the Beijing Garden Expo Park and the Yongding River) will take place on site, showcasing a fine collection of local intangible cultural heritage items. Visitors can watch artisans demonstrate their crafts live.

From 17:30, the "Long-Lasting the Motherland, Ingenuity Gathered in Beijing" (山河永定 京聚匠心) joint folk arts exhibition of areas along the Xishan-Yongding River Cultural Belt will kick off at the same time, showcasing the cultural belt's historical heritage and traditional crafts through physical displays, illustrated explanations, and digital interactive installations.

From 19:00 to 20:40, the Blast Furnace Concert (高炉音乐会) will be staged, continuing the classic artistic style of symphonic music, poetry, and visual tableau, and blending the symphony with the century-long perseverance.
