On the morning of March 4, the torch relay of the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games was held at the headquarter of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (BOCOG) in Shougang Park, which is also the final leg of the relay.

Under the theme of "Home of Winter Olympics", the relay at the headquarters aims to showcase the unique charm of Beijing as the "Dual Olympic City", the results of the campaign that engages more than 300 million Chinese people in snow and ice activities and the balanced development of summer and winter sports in Beijing. The first torchbearer was Liu Yukun, the A3 discus champion at Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games who broke the Paralympic world record 6 times. She was also one of the torchbearers for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics and among the first batch of five-star volunteers in Beijing.

The torch relay features technology represented by how upper and lower limb assistive exoskeleton robots help torchbearers with disabilities pass the torch. Peng Yuanyuan, who serves as the coach of the Beijing cross-country skiing team of athletes with disabilities and was Team China's flag bearer at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympics opening ceremony, participated in the relay with the aid of an upper-limb exoskeleton. Assisted by the intelligent and automatic clutching function, she was able to carry and pass the torch. Yang Shuting, another torchbearer and a strong-minded model of China's poverty alleviation efforts, used a lower-limb exoskeleton to walk upright and pass the torch.

In 2015, Beijing won its bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. Following the setup of the BOCOG in Shougang Park, storage silos of iron ore were transformed into the offices of the BOCOG, the furnace into the training center, and the Shougang Big Air was built right beside the cooling tower. All this has made Shougang Park a place that harbors China's winter Olympic dream alongside its own splendid revitalization.
During March 2 and 4, over 500 torchbearers participated in the Beijing 2022 winter Paralympic torch relay. On the evening of March 4, the Paralympic flame that has been carried by numerous people will arrive at the National Stadium (the Bird's Nest).
