Currently, Shijingshan is home to several key industrial parks, such as the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Large Model Industry Development Cluster, Zhongguancun Science Fiction Industry Innovation Center, and Zhongguancun Industrial Internet Industrial Park.

Zhongguancun VR Industrial Park: The park encompasses over 120 companies across the VR industry chain, including those dedicated to terminal devices, content applications, distribution platforms, and production tools. A total of 11 companies have been selected as the 2023 "Top 50 VR Companies in China". The park also houses Huawei (Beijing) Virtual Reality Innovation Center and has introduced industrial platforms like the State Key Laboratory of Virtual Reality Technology and Systems of Beihang University.

 

 

Science Fiction Industry Cluster: This is China's first science fiction industry cluster. As a key project of the cluster, Zhongguancun Science Fiction Industry Innovation Center offers a one-stop public and technological service platform, perfecting the technological service chain of "Research Institute + Incubator + Accelerator + Industry Cluster" and attracting leading science fiction companies like Sycamore and Yuanke Fangzhou.

 

 

Zhongguancun Industrial Internet Industrial Park: With Gucheng Entrepreneurship Building playing the piloting role, this park houses 36 companies like TravelSky Technology, achieving an occupancy rate of 90 percent. The park's core area is the Xijing area. With the first phase nearing completion, the second phase is expected to be finished by the end of 2026.

 

 

Beijing Banking and Insurance Industrial Park & CETC (Beijing) Smart Technology Park: The park houses over 160 financial institutions. By the end of 2021, it established CETC (Beijing) Smart Technology Park dedicated to the forefront industrial elements like AI and the third generation of semiconductors, and strategically positioning three national original technology sources, five national innovation centers, and 17 R&D centers.

 

 

AI Large Model Industry Development Cluster: This cluster is home to around 30 municipal key AI companies and hosts the nation's first "Baidu AI Cloud Qianfan Large Model Industry (Beijing) Innovation Base". It has also introduced the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Key Laboratory for Evaluation of AI Key Technologies and Applications", striving to apply five leading AI big models in the industry.

 

 

On March 20, Shijingshan District will host an industrial development promotion conference to showcase the achievements in regional economic and social development and the progress made by the enterprises within the district. The conference will unveil a new batch of industrial support policies, including those for the AI large model industry, and launch Shijingshan District's Global Industrial Ecology Cooperation Plan, aiming to invite excellent global companies to share the development opportunities of western Beijing.
