The Shijingshan Science Museum presents this summer a special science education season themed "Technology Empowering the Future" (科技赋能未来), bringing citizens a unique and exciting feast of sci-tech knowledge.

 

The "Explore Science" (玩转科学) activity series is all about discovering the charms of technologies through hands-on activities. At themed science classes, immersive, story-based teaching methods are adopted to bring abstract concepts to life. Volunteers help visitors uncover the fascinating scientific principles behind the exhibits, while practitioners from the sci-tech industries connect cutting-edge innovations to everyday life through their own voluntary activities for education.

 

 

The "Junior Docent Training Summer Camp" (小讲解员兴趣小组集训夏令营) officially kicked off on July 11. Participants who pass the assessment and offer guide service will be awarded a "Junior Docent Certificate" (小讲解员证书). From July 9 to August 20, the "AI Maker Experience Summer Camp" (AI创客兴趣小组体验夏令营) will run twice a week with intriguing courses like "Scratch Mini Game Programming" (Scratch编程小游戏) and Lego World Adventure (乐高搭建周游世界) for everyone.

 

This summer holiday, the museum will also host numerous science talks and industry-themed education salons. The "Tech Tradition" (科技 传统) will showcase the amazing combinations of technologies and cultural heritage. A special course on the digital economy will unveil the scientific grounds of the "digital engines". Also, the Cosmic Exploration Bureau (宇宙探索局) invites you to explore the mysteries of stars.
