Also attending the fair are the delegations from China's provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan region. It has been confirmed that Australia, the Country of Honor for the 2025 CIFTIS, will lead its largest-ever delegation to the fair, which will include Fortune Global 500 companies and unicorn enterprises such as Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) and Canva.
The sub-events confirmed so far include 14 thematic forums, 76 special forums, and 50 matchmaking and promotional sessions. During the thematic forums, attendees will focus on the annual theme "Digital Intelligence Driving Innovation in Trade in Services" to discuss topics such as e-commerce in the digital intelligence era, new trends in trade in services, and the development of the global green economy.
Special forums are expected to address trending issues across industries. For instance, the "Nigeria-China Digital Economy and Trade Cooperation Forum" to be held as part of the section for telecommunications, computer and information services, will explore areas such as the advancement of the digital economy sectors in China and Nigeria, collaboration in trade in services, Nigeria's industrial upgrading, and mutual investment opportunities between the two countries.
As of now, 47 leading enterprises and other organizations, including Alibaba, Schneider Electric, Philips, and GE Healthcare, have registered to present over 70 new technologies and achievements during the fair.
Starting this year, the CIFTIS will adopt a fixed schedule by opening annually on the second Wednesday of September and running for five days. The first three days will be for professional visitors only, followed by two public days. Also, this CIFTIS will be held at only one venue (Shougang Park), meaning that the China National Convention Center will not host the fair this year.
