By the end of this December, according to the implementation plan for ten toughest projects, a total of 72 key projects about the Winter Olympics services as well as industrial transformation and upgrading are carried out or will be carried out in the New Shougang High-end Industry Comprehensive Service Park (hereinafter referred to as "New Shougang Park"), which formulates an orderly plan of key projects in the New Shougang Park in the coming three years. The plan was launched in 2020, and was expected to complete fixed assets investment of 14 billion yuan in the same year, achieving the initial goal.
According to officials from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, the Snowboard Big Air Venue for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games is sited in the New Shougang Park. The park has geared up to prepare and support the Winter Olympics, and give full play to the leading role of the sporting event. As of today, the following tasks are completed: the construction of Uniform and Accreditation Center for Olympic Winter Games, the environmental improvement of areas surrounding the Snowboard Big Air Venue, the construction of Qunminghu Nanlu, which is south of the Snowboard Big Air Venue. Besides, projects to be completed in April 2021 are the installation of electromechanical devices and the construction of curtain walls of the hotel for Snowboard Big Air Venue and the Winter Olympics rebroadcast center.
The services in the park are guaranteed with the settlement and opening of the following stores: Meituan's first AI smart store MAISHOP, a retail store for Winter Olympics licensed products, ShangBrew, Chaganger, Meituan smart store and an experience museum for traversing machine. At the same time, seven brands including the Mojia robot band signed contracts with the New Shougang Park to open the nationwide first store in the park. Sports brands such as Wujie Tiyu and Burangfei Media are settled in the field of Winter Olympic Square. A general bonded warehouse for sporting goods will be completed in August.
