The National Winter Sport Training Center is located in the western part of the north area of Shougang Park, with a total floor area of about 82,700 square meters. 

The training center has four ice rinks that meet the standards of international competitions, namely, the short track speed skating venue, the figure skating venue, the curling venue and the ice hockey venue. 

The short track speed skating venue has hosted a series of sports events such as the short track speed skating final of the First Beijing Winter Games, and the Short Track Speed Skating Elite League 2018 China Cup.

The figure skating venue has served as the hall for a series of sports events such as the 2018 China Figure Skating Interclub League Finals and Youth (U-Class) Competition, and the figure skating final of the First Beijing Winter Games.

The curling venue has hosted such sports events as the 2018-2019 National Curling Championships, and the Shougang Park-2018-2019 National Curling Championships.

The ice hockey venue has hosted such sports events as the 2019 IIHF World Women's Championship Division I, Group B, the 2018-2019 KHL (Beijing home field), and the International Collegiate Hockey Tournament.
