Tus-Ice and Snow Sports Center is located along the West Chang'an Avenue of Beijing. With the approval of the Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Tus-Ice and Snow Group is responsible for investment, construction and operation of the center. The center takes up a total area of 28,700 square meters, and is constituted by the Training Hall, the Competition Hall and the Comprehensive Gymnasium.
The Training Hall boasts a real ice rink of 1,800 square meters which meets the international Olympic standard, and can host various ice sports events, ice sports experiencing programs and on-ice personnel training programs. The Competition Hall also has a real ice rink of 1,800 square meters which meets the international Olympic standard. It is an ice and snow competition venue with the most advanced air-supported membrane structure in China, and can host a variety of large-scale ice sports events. With a environmentally-friendly and energy-saving environment, the Comprehensive Gymnasium is equipped with fresh air system and can prevent smog. It offers a variety of sports events including trampoline, basketball, badminton, and football, so as to meet people's needs for entertainment, sports training and competition.
Since its trial operation on May 1, 2017, the center has been opened to the public for free on a regular basis and has hosted various ice and snow sports events and activities. Up to now, it has hosted more than 500 ice events, and more than 10 large-scale events, receiving 110,000 people who participate in on-ice activities and 200,000 people who participate in ice and snow activities. It has provided a strong support for the popularization of ice and snow sports among citizens.
