Founded in 1946, North China University of Technology (NCUT) is located in Shijingshan District of Beijing, and covers a total area of about 452 mu and a floor area of 400,000 square meters. Currently, NCUT has more than 16,000 students, including over 700 international students.

NCUT sets up seven categories of disciplines including science, engineering, lieral art, economics, management, law, and art, and has established a multi-level education system with a wide coverage.

NCUT is one of the first batch of “Belt and Road” international talent training bases in Beijing for national outstanding engineers, as well as one of the institutions admitting international students under Chinese Government Scholarship Programs. It has established partnerships with 109 universities from 38 countries and regions, and has carried out more than 80 projects including combined cultivation, exchange student, double degree conferring, external training, and short-term exchange with more than 50 overseas universities. With the approval of the competent administrative department for education, the school established Brunel London School, North China University of Technology, the first Sino-British joint transnational education school at undergraduate-level in Beijing.
