3. Common problems in the use of electricity meters
(1) Junction box burnout: mainly due to the overload of the electricity meter, or the connection screw is not tightened, and the contact is hot and burns out. In addition, rural areas are prone to burn out electricity meters during thunderstorms.
(2) What is the buzzing of the meter in use?
There are many reasons for causing the buzzing, mainly the following:
① The electromagnetic coil or iron core is loose;
②The upper bearing hole supporting the rotation of the disc is too large or lacks oil;
③Slightly wipe the disc when the disc is too close to the magnet, electromagnet or other parts due to improper installation.
Generally, if the sound is not heard at 1M away from the meter in the ordinary environment, it can be considered as qualified.
