Beijing Winter Olympics Park, built upon natural landscapes, historical culture, and industrial heritage resources, integrates eight parks along the Yongding River, including Lianshi Lake Park and Gaojinggou Estuary Park. It is the largest urban leisure park in the western part of the capital.
The park features a 42-kilometer riverside marathon route, a 10-kilometer night running trail specially designed for night runners who love the views of the "Ice Ribbon" (National Speed Skating Oval), the "Ice and Snow Forest" simulating a mountain skiing environment, a Winter Olympics-themed art corridor adorned with 15 masterpiece-level sculptures, and a bridge park built on the New Shougang Bridge.
Here, visitors can not only discover a plethora of Winter Olympic elements but also experience the rich cultural legacy of Shougang. Looking into the distance, the beautiful views of the New Shougang Bridge and Lianshi Lake come into full view.
