The China International Candy Season (hereinafter referred to as the "Season") was opened in Beijing on August 29 and will run until November 16, with the trial operation of its businesses at Shougang Park starting on September 5. The period is scheduled to span several major events including the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), WTT China Smash, and the National Day holiday.
The main venue of the event is set in the area of the Big Air Shougang. Meanwhile, adhering to the spatial concept of "propelling growth through east-west linkage", the event covers the 798 Art District and the 751D-Park (focusing on cultural creativity) and the Beijing Happy Valley (focusing on thematic entertainment) to the east of Shougang Park, aimed at creating a cross-district candy carnival integrating sports, culture and tourism.
On September 10, the opening day of this year's CIFTIS, the opening ceremony of the Season will be held at the cooling tower of the Big Air Shougang. A main forum held on the same day will discuss the national policy guidance for China's food industry chain and its development trend in the global market. In the meantime, the strategic plans and development directions of the China National Food Industry Association for the global industrial development will be introduced, with a high-level dialogue on the transition from "Made in China" to "Chinese Brands" to be held.
In addition, during this year's CIFTIS (which will run from September 10 to 14), every CIFTIS ticket holder can enjoy a 20-percent discount when purchasing a ticket for the "Candy Carnival". During the WTT China Smash (which will run from September 28 to October 5), holders of tickets for the matches or the Smash Park will directly enter the Season's venues.
