Recently, the press tour for the exhibition "Art on Walls: A Dialogue Between the Murals of Fahai Temple and Pilu Temple" was held at Yongji Temple in Moshikou, Shijingshan District. The exhibition is centered on the artistic connections between the murals of the two temples. Meanwhile, several coordinated initiatives were launched, including mutual recognition of admission tickets, hotel discounts, and promotional campaigns for cultural tourism businesses in both locations. These efforts are aimed at creating a new cultural tourism experience that combines immersive cultural appreciation with attractive consumption benefits.
Starting from June 20, the exhibition opened to the public free of charge at Yongji Temple in Shijingshan District. It will run until October 31, open from 9:00 to 16:30 on Tuesdays and Sundays, and closed on Mondays (except for public holidays).
During the exhibition period, Shijingshan District and Shijiazhuang City have launched a series of joint initiatives to boost consumption.
1. Mutual Recognition of Tickets: Any visitor holding a ticket to either Fahai Temple or Pilu Temple can enjoy free admission to the other site (this policy does not cover the original murals of Fahai Temple). Additionally, holders of Pilu Temple's tickets can each receive a 50-percent discount when visiting Fahai Temple Mural Art Museum in Beijing, and a 20-percent discount at ticketed scenic spots in Zhengding Ancient City (Longxing Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, Guanghui Temple, Tianning Temple, Rongguo Mansion, Zhao Yun Temple, and the City God Temple).
2. Hotel Discounts in Shijingshan District: Holders of the tickets to Pilu Temple can enjoy discounts ranging from 15 to 45 percent on accommodation at five participating hotels, including Jingyan Hotel and Lavande Hotel.
3. Cultural Tourism Consumption Discounts: Holders of the tickets to Pilu Temple can enjoy special offers at 28 consumption venues (restaurants, shops selling creative cultural products, and boutiques with trendy toys) located in the Moshikou Historical and Cultural Block.
